Job summary

Thermon is seeking a Project Billing Specialist in Houston, TX. You will manage invoice processing for complex projects, including Time & Materials and Fixed Price work, using AX2012 and ERP systems. Collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations is essential to ensure accurate, timely billing and contract compliance.

The role emphasizes accuracy, attention to detail, and proactive coordination with project teams to support collections and financial reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in project billing, contract billing, accounts receivable, service billing, or related experience.
Experience reviewing contract requirements and customer billing specifications.
Proficiency with ERP systems and billing applications.
Advanced MS Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process project invoices using the AX2012 ERP system.
Manage Time & Materials and Fixed Price project billing in accordance with contracts.
Monitor unbilled work and coordinate with Project Managers for timely invoicing.
Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders for billing compliance.
Support collections and reconcile invoices with customers and internal teams.
Maintain documentation of billing requirements and project records.
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate billing.
Assist in special projects and process improvements as needed.
