Job summary

Strategic Management Solutions, LLC (SMSI) seeks a Project Manager II to support LANL's ERP modernization, focusing on the supply chain and manufacturing workstreams. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing scope, schedule, and budget in a matrix environment, and ensuring timely deliverables onsite in Los Alamos or Santa Fe, NM with hybrid work arrangements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in CS/IS, 4+ years of PM experience, and relevant certifications such as PMP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems preferred.
• 4+ years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• PMP, Scrum Master Certification (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile credential.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary supply chain and manufacturing projects of low to moderate complexity.
• Lead projects through the full lifecycle using established PM methodologies and best practices.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling, tracking, and execution to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Develop, maintain, and manage project charters, PMPs, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate activities across supply chain, manufacturing, and technical teams for milestones.
• Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, dependencies; escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to define expectations and roles.
• Support operational readiness, implementation, and adoption of deliverables.
• Communicate status, risks, and requirements clearly to diverse audiences.
