Job summary

Venteon is assisting a client in Detroit to hire an ERP and Manufacturing Systems Manager who will lead Plex ERP and manufacturing systems across multiple facilities. This is a hands-on leadership role that balances production support with system improvements and new initiatives.

You will manage a geographically dispersed team of ERP analysts and specialists, own Plex ERP configurations, and partner with plant leaders to standardize processes, deploy integrations, and support digital

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting ERP and manufacturing systems in a multi-plant environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes across production, quality, inventory, warehousing, supply chain, and shipping.
• Experience with ERP implementations, integrations, production support, and change management.
• Experience connecting shop-floor equipment or industrial data sources with enterprise systems.
• Plex ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Exposure to digital twins, machine learning, or AI applications in manufacturing.

• Guide the integration of shop-floor equipment and production data with enterprise systems and analytics platforms.
• Work with operations and engineering on digital manufacturing initiatives, including machine data, digital twins, and practical AI use cases.
