Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to fill an ERP Materials Systems Lead role in the United States. The ideal candidate will design and evolve SAP S/4HANA MM, focusing on Procure‑to‑Pay and integration across procurement, finance, and supply chain. You will guide deployments and ongoing optimization in a fast‑paced, growth environment.

You will own the architecture and functional leadership, partnering with implementation teams to deliver standardized, scalable processes and strong financial governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on SAP MM experience including multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Minimum 3 years designing SAP S/4HANA architecture within complex environments.
• Experience with greenfield SAP S/4HANA deployments or large ERP transformations.
• Strong procurement, inventory, supplier management and broader supply chain knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA MM solutions aligned to procurement and inventory needs.
• Define scalable Procure‑to‑Pay architecture to support efficiency, controls and long‑term goals.

As the ERP Material Systems Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing and evolving enterprise procurement and material management capabilities through a modern SAP S/4HANA environment. This position offers the opportunity to shape long‑term ERP architecture while driving digital transformation across procurement, inventory, supply chain, and finance operations. Working in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams and implementation partners to build scalable, standardized, and efficient business processes. Beyond the initial ERP deployment, you will own the continuous evolution of Procure‑to‑Pay capabilities, ensuring the platform supports operational excellence, business growth, and strong financial governance. Accountabilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end design, architecture, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise procurement and inventory management requirements.
• Define scalable Procure‑to‑Pay solution architecture that supports operational efficiency, financial controls, and long‑term business objectives while following SAP best practices.
• Serve as the primary functional authority for SAP MM, guiding implementation partners and internal stakeholders throughout system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post‑go‑live optimization.
• Drive standardization, process simplification, and adoption of clean‑core, fit‑to‑standard SAP methodologies while minimizing unnecessary customizations.
• Oversee integration between procurement, finance, manufacturing, warehouse, supply chain, and supplier management processes to ensure seamless end‑to‑end operations.
• Support ERP transformation initiatives by providing architectural leadership, developing functional specifications, coordinating user acceptance testing, and ensuring successful system stabilization.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance ERP capabilities to improve scalability, operational performance, and business value over the long term.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of hands‑on SAP Materials Management (MM) experience, including multiple full lifecycle ERP implementations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience designing SAP S/4HANA solution architecture within complex enterprise environments.
• Proven experience supporting SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations or large‑scale ERP transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, supplier management, and broader supply chain business processes.
• Deep expertise in clean‑core architecture principles and fit‑to‑standard SAP design methodologies.
• Experience writing functional specifications, leading user acceptance testing, and partnering with implementation teams through deployment and stabilization.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance requirements and financial systems governance is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to influence technical and business decision‑makers.
