Job summary

Eide Bailly invites motivated students to join as a Microsoft ERP Intern for a January–April term, with hybrid or remote work options. The internship runs 20 hours per week, offering hands-on experience on Dynamics 365 BC implementations and related projects across our ERP practice.

You'll collaborate with experienced consultants, developers, and project managers while learning to analyze processes and configure solutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are valued.
• Interest in ERP systems and Microsoft ecosystem is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and optimization projects.
• Learn client business processes and translate requirements into system configuration.
• Assist with requirements documentation, process mapping, system setup, testing, and issue tracking.
• Prepare, cleanse, validate, and import client data; document activities and results.
• Participate in client meetings, demonstrations, and training sessions; assist with deliverables.

Typical Day in the Life

As a Microsoft ERP Intern, you will work alongside functional consultants, developers, and project managers supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation and optimization engagements. Your day-to-day work will focus primarily on ERP delivery, with opportunities to learn about other solutions and services across our broader Microsoft practice such as Azure, M365 Copilot, & Power BI . You will assist with business process analysis, system configuration, data preparation, testing, documentation, client training, and other project activities. You will also gain hands-on exposure to the responsible use of AI, both as an internal productivity tool and as a capability that can support client processes, decision-making, and solution design. As your experience grows, you will help identify improvement opportunities, develop client-ready deliverables, and expand your knowledge of ERP, Microsoft technologies, AI, and the industries we serve.

• Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects under the guidance of experienced team members.
• Learn client business processes and help translate requirements into practical system configuration and solution recommendations.
• Assist with project activities such as requirements documentation, process mapping, system setup, testing, issue tracking, and status updates.
• Work collaboratively with functional consultants, developers, architects, analysts, and project managers to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
• Prepare, cleanse, validate , and import client data, and document completed activities and results.
• Participate in client meetings, demonstrations, training sessions, and internal working sessions as appropriate .
• Help create clear, accurate , and professional deliverables for both client and internal audiences.
• Build familiarity with the broader Microsoft ecosystem, including adjacent business applications, cloud services, data and analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence capabilities.
• Use approved AI tools responsibly to support research, analysis, documentation, testing, knowledge sharing, and other internal project activities, while applying appropriate judgment , validation, confidentiality, and data-handling practices.
• Help explore and document practical client-facing AI use cases, considering business value, user experience, data quality, security, privacy, and the need for human review.

Who You Are

• You are pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or another relevant field.
• You have an interest in ERP systems, business processes, technology consulting, artificial intelligence, or the Microsoft ecosystem.

Interns:

We are excited to share that intern positions in technology consulting are paid $25.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. Interns are eligible for health insurance and 401(k) Profit Sharing.
