Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an integrated ERP implementation plan covering milestones, dependencies, deliverables, resources, and critical-path activities.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across corporate, regional, and subsidiary teams.
  • Establish project governance, meeting cadences, decision-making processes, and escalation protocols.
  • Maintain accountability for project deliverables, owners, and deadlines.
  • Monitor progress against the implementation schedule and proactively address delays.
  • Coordinate activities and deliverables with implementation partners and third-party resources.
  • Facilitate project status meetings, working sessions, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of decisions, action items, commitments, and project status.
  • Develop and execute change-management strategies for each implementation.
  • Assess organizational readiness and identify adoption risks.
  • Partner with regional leadership to identify functional subject-matter experts and ensure appropriate project participation.
  • Evaluate resource capacity and identify where operational backfill may be required.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
  • Coordinate business-process changes associated with standardized global processes.
  • Identify resistance to change and develop mitigation strategies with leadership.
  • Support regional leaders in communicating implementation expectations, timing, and business impact.
  • Maintain comprehensive risk, issue, action, and decision logs.
  • Identify schedule, resource, technical, data, operational, and organizational risks.
  • Evaluate risks based on probability, impact, ownership, and mitigation plans.
  • Escalate significant risks and unresolved issues to executive leadership.
  • Track dependencies between ERP activities and related systems or enterprise initiatives.
  • Provide early warning when resources, decisions, or deliverables may affect the planned go-live date.
  • Ensure critical issues have clear owners, corrective actions, and target resolution dates.
  • Develop and manage the overall project communication plan.
  • Deliver concise project-status updates to executive sponsors and business leaders.

  • Ensure each functional area has an identified subject-matter expert with the appropriate authority and availability.
  • Facilitate cross-functional discussions involving multiple departments or business entities.
  • Drive the timely resolution and documentation of process-design decisions.
  • Support alignment with standardized global processes while identifying legitimate statutory and regional requirements.
  • Coordinate data-migration activities and monitor completion of data-related deliverables.
  • Develop and manage the overall testing schedule, including user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure business owners participate in testing and formally validate critical processes.
  • Coordinate training plans for functional subject-matter experts and end users.

Job description

Aberdeen Advisors is seeking an experienced ERP Implementation Project Manager to lead and coordinate global implementations of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (CSI/Syteline).

This individual will oversee project execution, governance, change management, risk management, communication, and organizational readiness across multiple international business units. The Project Manager will serve as the central coordination point among executive sponsors, regional business leaders, functional subject-matter experts, IT teams, and third-party implementation partners.

The focus of this role is to ensure resources remain engaged, decisions are made on schedule, risks and dependencies are actively managed, and each business unit is prepared for a successful go-live and sustainable adoption.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management and Governance
  • Develop and maintain an integrated ERP implementation plan covering milestones, dependencies, deliverables, resources, and critical-path activities.

  • Manufacturing ERP experience involving inventory, planning, purchasing, manufacturing, costing, and finance.
  • Experience addressing country-specific statutory and localization requirements.
  • Experience implementing standardized global processes while accommodating valid regional requirements.
  • PMP, Prosci, or a comparable project-management or change-management certification.
Engagement Structure

This is a contract position supporting a global Infor CSI implementation program. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating independently, creating structure around complex cross-functional initiatives, and providing leadership with timely visibility into project status, risks, decisions, and resource needs.

Success in this role will be measured by delivering well-controlled ERP implementations in which users are trained and engaged, risks are identified early, the business is operationally prepared, and each region is positioned for a successful go-live and sustainable adoption.
