Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Financial Systems & Solutions Intern to support the Accounting organization by assisting with ERP configurations and process enhancements across the Americas.

You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise financial systems, collaborate with Accounting, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders, and help improve data integrity, reporting, and controls while supporting month-end and other close activities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, or related field.
• Rising Junior or Senior preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support ERP configuration activities, testing, and documentation updates.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting and financial system issues.
• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
• Support UAT for system enhancements and upgrades.
• Maintain process documentation and training materials.
• Gather requirements with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data analyses.
• Assist month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities.
• Contribute to automation, standardization, and process optimization.
