Job summary

Modigent is seeking a Data Migration Analyst – Finance & ERP Systems to own accounting accuracy during ERP migrations across Procore, Sage Intacct, and BuildOps. You will bridge legacy systems with target platforms, ensuring clean, validated, and audit-ready data loads for multiple operating companies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting or financial operations experience, with at least 4+ years of hands-on ERP data migration execution.
• Strong construction accounting or job-cost background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute data migration activities for finance and accounting modules, ensuring accuracy during transitions to Sage Intacct, Procore, and BuildOps.
• Perform data mapping, transformation, extraction, and validation between source systems and target ERP platforms.
• Review and reconcile trial balances, sub-ledgers, and financial data from legacy systems for integrity in the new environment.
• Validate migrated data against source system reports, resolve discrepancies in job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, and related construction accounting elements.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, shared services, and implementation partners to define migration requirements and cutover plans.
• Develop and maintain Excel templates and validation tools to support migration accuracy.
• Document migration processes, mapping rules, transformation logic, and issue resolution for audit readiness.
• Support month-end close readiness and post-migration financial reporting validation.
• Contribute to improving migration methodologies and controls for scalable rollouts.
