Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute data migration activities for finance and accounting modules, ensuring accuracy and completeness during the transition to Sage Intacct, Procore, and BuildOps.

  • Perform detailed data mapping, transformation, extraction, and validation between source systems and target ERP platforms.

  • Validate migrated data against source system reports, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues related to job costing, WIP, revenue recognition, over/under billings, retainage, change orders, and other construction accounting elements.

  • Collaborate closely with finance, operations, shared services, and implementation partners to define migration requirements, sequencing, and cutover plans.

  • Develop and maintain advanced Excel workbooks, reconciliation templates, and validation tools to support migration accuracy.

  • Document migration processes, mapping rules, transformation logic, and issue resolution for audit and knowledge transfer purposes.

  • Support month‑end close readiness and post‑migration financial reporting validation.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of migration methodologies, templates, and controls to support scalable rollouts across multiple operating companies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required.

  • Physical Demands: Primarily office‑based with occasional travel for project meetings or go‑live support; standard office mobility.

  • Hands‑on experience with Sage Intacct (or similar ERP) including sub‑ledger management, journal entries, and GL reconciliation.

  • Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, data validation, complex reconciliation workbooks).

  • Ability to read, interpret, and reconcile trial balances independently.

  • Experience with source systems such as Sage 100, Sage 50, QuickBooks Desktop, Microsoft Dynamics GP, or eCMS.

  • Understanding of data migration sequencing and transformation logic.
