Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions seeks an Accounting Systems Administrator to manage D365 Finance & Operations and related financial systems on-site in Charlotte, NC. You will administer Medius, Avatax, Concur, and other integrations, ensuring data integrity and strong internal controls.

The role collaborates with IT, focuses on accounting requirements, and supports month-end close while enhancing automation and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent in information technology.
• Minimum four (4) years proven experience as Network Administrator or comparable field.
• Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
• Ability to write clear documentation of systems and procedures.
• Strong customer service orientation with ability to support, train, and communicate with users of varying technical skill levels.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial records and system access.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
• Medius experience.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Experience as a Network Specialist and broad technical troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office and SQL for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic administration and roadmap of D365 Finance & Operations and related financial systems.
• Administer QuickBooks Server & Database; manage access, workflows, and security roles.
• Support integrations with Medius, Avatax, Concur, and internal portals.
• Set up new locations, acquisitions, and entities in D365 or related systems.
• Troubleshoot posting issues, workflow delays, and data inconsistencies.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Build SQL queries and data extracts for reporting.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial processes and controls.
• Document solutions and create user guides; train staff as needed.
• Coordinate ERP upgrades and system implementations with IT and vendors.
