Job summary

Mid-West Fabricating Co is seeking a Primary Plex ERP Administrator and subject matter expert to support manufacturing operations. You will administer Plex ERP, assist users across production, quality, purchasing, inventory, shipping, finance, and management, and troubleshoot issues.

You will develop reports and dashboards from Plex data using Data Magik and AI-enabled tools, drive process improvements, ensure data integrity, and train staff on best practices, upgrades, and new Plex

Qualifications

• Experience administering Plex ERP and supporting users.
• Ability to develop reports and dashboards from Plex ERP data.
• Familiarity with Data Magik and AI-enabled reporting.
• Strong collaboration with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and admin teams.
• Willingness to train employees and document procedures.

Responsibilities

Primary administrator and subject matter expert for our Plex ERP system. This individual will support business users across the organization, develop reports and dashboards, leverage AI-driven tools such as Data Magik to provide actionable business insights, and help drive continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.Description of Work Performed:Plex ERP Administration & SupportServe as the primary administrator and internal expert for the Plex ERP system.Support users across production, quality, purchasing, inventory, shipping, customer service, finance, and management.Troubleshoot ERP issues and coordinate solutions with Plex support when necessary.Maintain system configurations, security, user access, and documentation.Identify opportunities to improve business processes through better utilization of Plex functionality.Facilitate customer EDI changes in Plex.Reporting, Analytics & Data ManagementDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and business analytics using Plex ERP data.Utilize Data Magik and AI-enabled reporting tools to extract, analyze, and present operational data.Partner with leadership and department managers to provide meaningful insights that support decision-making.Ensure data integrity and promote best practices for data management.Assist with KPI development and operational performance reporting.Business Process ImprovementWork closely with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and administrative teams to understand business needs.Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and process standardization.Participate in ERP enhancements, upgrades, and implementation of new functionality.Document procedures and train employees in system usage and best practices.IT Support (Backup Responsibilities)Provide backup support for basic IT operations.Assist with user account management, hardware deployment, software support, and troubleshooting.Work collaboratively with the IT team to resolve technical issues.Support technology projects and system improvements as needed.The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with excellent people skills.
