Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC is seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst to design and customize SAP or PeopleSoft applications, document functional requirements, and coordinate with development teams.

You will map processes, participate in test planning, and support production issues, while ensuring alignment with government and contractual deliverables. Collaboration with QA, PM, and trade/compliance teams is essential.

• Define functional requirements for data capture, approval, and digital transmission.
• Support integration testing, data validation, and audit compliance.
• Coordinate with QA, PM, and Export/Trade Compliance to align standards.
• Ensure traceability of serialized deliveries from production to acceptance.
• Manage requirements and backlog using Jira and Focused Build.
• Lead functional reviews and design walkthroughs with developers and stakeholders.

Applies functional knowledge to the design and customization of SAP or PeopleSoft client/server application to meet the company's requirements and systems needs. Understands content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications. Writes functional requirements, develops test plans, and works with production issues. Works with developers to ensure requirements are being met. At higher levels, serves as subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with implementing enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the IT Business Analyst for Customer Sell-Off / DD250 processes in support of aerospace and defense contractual delivery requirements.
• Partner with the SAP TM and Logistics Execution teams to design integrated workflows between production, quality, and transportation systems.
• Define and document functional requirements for DD250 data capture, approval, and digital transmission.
• Support integration testing, data validation, and audit compliance related to government sell-off and delivery documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Program Management, and Export / Trade Compliance to align process and data standards.
• Ensure traceability and accuracy of serialized deliveries, from production order completion through government acceptance.
• Utilize Jira and Focused Build to manage requirements, user stories, and backlog prioritization.
• Lead functional reviews and design walkthroughs with technical developers and business stakeholders.
