Overview

ERP Applications Manager at HORNE LLP – Ridgeland, MS, United States. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and is open to job seekers who have the latest education. This position is in the Accounting field.

Job Responsibilities

Summary/objective

The primary purpose of this position is to work with focus areas on requirements and needs for the system for long-term success. The role will ensure alignment with the firm’s goals, identify resources to meet firm needs, and guide what the system is capable of and future directions.

Essential functions

  • Development, customization, configuration and testing of NetSuite ERP modules and workflows
  • Data migration from legacy platforms into the newly implemented NetSuite solution
  • Integrate third-party applications with the NetSuite ERP System
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for the ERP application and provide frontline support for NetSuite users
  • Build/maintain user interface entry forms, as well as email and PDF templates
  • Identify, evaluate and recommend other key technologies to support and improve business processes on the NetSuite platform
  • Maintain user roles/access and assign appropriate permissions
  • Experience in customization of reports, KPIs, dashboards, saved searches, and workflows within NetSuite
  • Perform mass updates on a schedule or by demand
  • Troubleshoot and maintain the NetSuite platform
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure data integrity
  • Work with NetSuite or other Professional Services to drive and coordinate larger (more complex) NetSuite projects
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customizations and integrations
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned
Supervisory responsibilities

May supervise a team directly or indirectly.

Work environment

Work to be performed in HORNE office setting or remotely.

Physical demands
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
Travel required

Less than 10%. Initial travel required for training.

Required education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 7-9 years of accounting or finance experience; or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

  • Strong experience with NetSuite integrations with third-party applications and NetSuite APIs
  • Prior experience as a NetSuite Developer
  • Strong understanding of Netsuite Search tools (joins, aggregated data, formula fields using SQL operators to extract data)
  • Understanding of data models, data integrity, and database concepts
  • Minimum of 3 years of development experience; with at least 2 years of NetSuite experience (including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk and SuiteBuilder) as a developer and as an administrator
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud administration
Preferred education and experience
  • Netsuite SuiteFoundation/Administrator Certification is a plus
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics and query module is a plus
  • Master's degree or equivalent higher qualification in a related field strongly preferred
