Job summary

SRP in Arizona seeks an ERP Application Developer to support, enhance, and evolve our Workforce Software (WFS) Time and Attendance platform and related enterprise applications. This role partners with payroll, SAP, and vendors to deliver reliable solutions for workforce management and payroll processing.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation and a passion for solving complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Workforce Software (WFS) Time and Attendance and related workforce management solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, integration, and data issues while providing timely resolution and support.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and data integrity to ensure reliable business operations.
  • Participate in application upgrades, patching activities, testing, and deployment efforts.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Configure and support pay rules, schedules, business rules, and related workforce management functionality.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex workforce management, payroll, scheduling, and timekeeping issues.
  • Design, develop, configure, and support interfaces between workforce management, HR, payroll, and other enterprise systems.
  • Work with APIs, data integrations, middleware solutions, file transfers, and related technologies.
  • Develop and maintain technical solutions that improve automation, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
  • Perform analysis, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of system functionality and integrations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to support data integrations and business process alignment between enterprise systems.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into sustainable technical solutions.
  • Recommend process, configuration, and system improvements that enhance user experience and business outcomes.
  • Participate in projects from requirements through deployment and post-production support.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, configuration workbooks, and user guides.
  • Develop and execute test plans and support quality assurance activities.
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members and business users.
  • Support user training and adoption of new processes and functionality.

Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated ERP Application Developer to support, enhance, and evolve our Workforce Software (WFS) Time and Attendance platform and related enterprise applications. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, payroll, functional teams, SAP, and vendors to deliver reliable solutions that support workforce management, payroll processing, and operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical foundation, a passion for solving complex business challenges, and the ability to learn and support enterprise applications. Experience with Workforce Software (WFS), workforce management systems, HRIS platforms, payroll systems, or similar enterprise applications is highly desirable.

This position offers the opportunity to work across application configuration, development, integrations, support, process improvement, and solution delivery while contributing to the continued modernization and optimization of workforce management technologies.

What You'll Do

Application Support & Enhancement

  • Configure, maintain, and enhance Workforce Software (WFS) Time and Attendance and related workforce management solutions.

Education

A bachelor's degree relevant to the assignment from an accredited institution is preferred.

Experience

This positionis being filled at the Level 2, based on the candidate’s relevant education, experience, or a combination of both that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and competencies.

Level I — Associate: In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 4 years may be considered.

Level 2 – Journey: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 6 years may be considered.

Level 3 – Senior: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required. In lieu of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 9 years may be considered. Eligibility for advancement (progression) to the next level in the same role is based on overall job performance, mastery of all functional responsibilities, and time in position, as assessed by the supervisor.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workforce Software (WFS) Time and Attendance.
  • Experience with workforce management, scheduling, payroll, HRIS, or human capital management systems.
  • Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors, Oracle, Workday, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Experience with XML, JavaScript, APIs, reporting tools, and integration technologies.
  • Experience with SAP integration technologies and enterprise system connectivity.
  • Experience supporting union, utility, manufacturing, public sector, or large enterprise environments.
  • Experience leading system implementations, upgrades, or enhancement projects.
  • Experience configuring pay rules, scheduling, and workforce management business processes.
  • Experience with Workforce Software Policy Editor.
  • Knowledge of Workforce Software Database Schema and reporting structures.
  • Experience with Workforce Software Analytics and reporting capabilities.
  • Workforce Software certifications or related workforce management certifications.
Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
