Job summary

VALTO Inc. is seeking an IT Application Developer in Channahon, IL to support and enhance core business systems, including the ERP (IBM iSeries/Infor EA) and related applications.

You will work with manufacturing, sales, and finance to gather requirements and deliver solutions using ASP.NET/C#, SharePoint, and SQL Server. The role emphasizes AI-assisted development and automation, with 2–5 years’ experience in ERP-related development and a manufacturing background preferred.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in IT/CS or related field, with coursework or experience in business systems analysis and application development.
• 2–5 years’ experience in ERP support or application development, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with Infor, IBM iSeries-based ERP configuration, support, or implementation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements; analyze current and future-state processes; translate needs into functional specs.
• Support and administer the ERP system (IBM iSeries/Infor EA); coordinate upgrades, patches, and testing.
• Provide project management and leadership for business systems and development projects.
• Develop, design, and support internal and external applications (SharePoint, EDI, Power Automate workflows).
• Support Manufacturing Control Systems (Wonderware and Recipe Management).
• Identify and implement AI/automation opportunities to accelerate development, testing, and documentation.
