A healthcare organization seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates all nursing care based on established clinical standards for medical-surgical services. Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and positive outcomes. Serves as a Resource Nurse when oriented and as directed. Supports the organization's vision and mission. Incorporates knowledge of patient's age, developmental stage, spiritual, and cultural diversity into care. Contributes to quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid license in California as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Proficient in oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates leadership, interpersonal skills, teamwork, professionalism, and quality improvement abilities.
- Current California RN license.
- BCLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA), NIHS Stroke certifications required upon hire and maintained.
- CPI/AB508 certification required upon hire.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Proficiency in written and oral English.
- Basic Dysrhythmia certificate preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital or emergency room setting preferred.
