Goodwill Serving Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to help lead one of our retail locations. As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll lead your team, support mission-driven programs, and ensure a safe, well-merchandised store while meeting sales and service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of retail experience in a leadership role.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily retail operations to achieve sales, production, and customer service goals.
• Coach, train, and develop team members for success.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management.
• Motivate employees while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
• Maintain merchandising, inventory, pricing, and store presentation standards.
• Monitor financial performance and support budget and operational goals.
• Promote donation growth and support local marketing initiatives.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shopping and work environment.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Partner with Mission Services to support employee and participant development.
• Assist with evaluating participant job performance and promoting workplace success.
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Do

• Intermediate computer and digital skills

• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred

Work Environment

• Retail environment with climate-controlled conditions
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Occasional exposure to dust, lint, donated goods, and outdoor weather conditions
• Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and occasional short deadlines
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
