Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Connecticut Athletic Trainer license required.
  • FCE Certification preferred.
  • Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ergonomic job analysis, including task analysis, risk factor identification and quantification, and body mechanics analysis.
  • Develop and maintain Physical Demand Assessments for all positions.
  • Implement/maintain Work Conditioning exercise programs for new hires.
  • Design ergonomic interventions and training to improve worker safety and performance.
  • Monitor and improve the Ergonomic Program and conduct Ergonomic Training.
  • Assist with return-to-work determinations and progressive activity planning.
  • Prepare and submit clinic reports via EMR with confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
  • Maintain patient treatment schedules and communicate progress to stakeholders.
