You will explore form factors, define kinematic behaviors for ergonomic optimization, and integrate mechanisms, sensors, and other components to meet stringent requirements. The role emphasizes stress testing, DFMEA, prototyping, testing, and failure analysis across product lifecycles.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering design role.
• Solid fundamentals: statics, strength of materials, kinematics, mechanism design, manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with industrial designers, hardware, software and manufacturing teams to define product vision.
• Explore multiple form factors and develop new product architectures.
• Define kinematic behaviors for ergonomic optimization.
• Integrate mechanisms, sensors and other electromechanical components.
• Collaborate with internal manufacturing and external vendors to optimize designs for function, cosmetics and manufacturability.
• Ensure design validity through life of product via stress analysis, DFMEA, prototyping, testing and failure analysis.
