Ergon Associated Asphalt Partners - Terminal Operator II

Join our team as a Terminal Operator II at Ergon Asphalt & Emulsions, Inc. based in Tampa, FL. We are a family-owned company with locations throughout the U.S. and Mexico, committed to maintaining a small company feel while delivering high-quality asphalt products.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to all safety requirements and procedures.
  2. Work independently and as part of a team.
  3. Perform all Terminal Operator I functions proficiently, including transferring products, operating steam boilers, aligning valves, operating pumps, blending, and performing general maintenance and minor repairs.
  4. Conduct Quality Control testing using DSR & Brookfield equipment.
  5. Other duties as assigned by the Terminal Manager.
Qualifications
  • Basic computer skills and PC knowledge.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Stable work history.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods on concrete and outdoor surfaces.
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
