Ergon Inc. in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a full-time Terminal Operator II to join a tight-knit team focused on producing high-quality asphalt binder.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on operation, maintenance, and QC testing; the Operator II will work with Operator I to develop skills and ensure efficient facility performance.

Qualifications

• General computer skills required.
• Basic mechanical skills required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Stable work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Safety requirements and procedures.
• Able to work independently (self-driven), as well as a Team Player.
• Able to perform all of the Terminal Operator I functions proficiently.
• Transfer products from between tanks.
• Operate a steam boiler.
• Able to align valves and operate pumps.
• Able to do blending functions.
• Able to perform general maintenance and minor repairs on machinery and equipment.
• Able to perform Quality Control testing using DSR & Brookfield equipment (where applicable).
• Other duties as required by Terminal Manager.

Terminal Operator II - Working with a tight-knit team to solve the everyday issues of producing high quality asphalt binder. We are a great company with great pay and great benefits. Our position is for a full-time Terminal Operator at our Greensboro, NC facility. The ideal operator would possess good organizational, time management, problem-solving, and housekeeping skills. We want people who look for opportunities to learn new skills and can contribute to making our facility an even better place to work. Our Terminal Operator II is a skilled operator who performs a variety of operational functions within the terminal and works closely with Operator I employees to develop their skills.

Terminal Operator II Job Responsibilities

Terminal Operator II Physical Requirements

• Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on concrete floors and outside surfaces.
• Able to work outside in varying weather conditions, varying cold, hot & humid temperatures.
• Manual dexterity; ability to reach; able to bend and move with agility.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.
