Responsibilities

• Perform all Terminal Operator I and II functions proficiently.
• Carry out advanced terminal tasks including PMA, Emulsion, and Injecting Concentrate.
• Develop and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all tanks and equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory for repairs and maintenance.
• Order required parts and equipment for maintenance and repair.
• Perform major maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment including rebuilding pumps.
• Assist with development and execution of project work.
• Train terminal operators on maintenance inspections and tasks.
• Other duties as required by the terminal Manager.

Our position is for a full-time Skilled Tradesman at our Roanoke, VA facility. The ideal candidate would possess organization, time management, problem-solving, and housekeeping skills. A Skilled Tradesman is a highly skilled professional specializing in one or more specific trade professions who provides preventative maintenance, general maintenance, and repair functions within the terminal location. This position works closely with terminal operators and leadership to ensure facilities and equipment are adequately always maintained and in proper working order. This position reports to the Terminal or Maintenance Manager. The person will also interface with all employees within the terminal, as well as customers, vendors, and employees from other parts of the company. Specifically, this individual will work closely with outside vendors for any necessary maintenance repairs within the terminal requiring third party engagement.

Job Responsibilities/Job Qualifications

• Able to perform all the Terminal Operator I and Terminal Operator II functions proficiently.
• Ability to perform advanced functions as required by terminal including PMA, Emulsion, and Injecting Concentrate.

Physical Requirements

• Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time on concrete floors and outside surfaces.
• Able to work outside in varied weather conditions, varying cold, hot, and humid temperatures.
• Manual dexterity; ability to reach; able to bend and move with agility.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds.
