Munich Re seeks a Senior Portfolio Account Manager to serve as the primary liaison between ERGO’s commercial accounts and underwriting teams. This role involves managing accounts, overseeing P&L, and fostering strong stakeholder relationships. Candidates should have at least 7 years of experience in US P&C, focusing on small commercial lines, and a degree in mathematics or economics.
The preferred location for this role is New York City, NY, but we are open to Philadelphia, PA, and Princeton, NJ.

This new North American function will be overseen jointly by Munich Re America Services and ERGO.

ERGO, a major European insurance group, operates in over 20 countries, focusing on core markets in Europe and Asia. Recently, with the acquisition of Next Insurance, ERGO is entering the North American insurance market for the first time.
The ERGO NA Senior Portfolio Account Manager reports directly to the Head of ERGO NA Underwriting. This role is vital as the primary liaison between ERGO’s commercial accounts and the underwriting teams, fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring business success and profitability.

The company is open to candidates in NYC, Princeton, and Philadelphia. The salary range reflects market variations, with the higher end aligned with NYC. The anticipated base salary is $141,800 to $226,100, plus potential bonuses and benefits such as health insurance, wellness programs, 401k matching, and paid time off.
