Job summary

Mass General Brigham Salem Hospital seeks a Board Certified/Eligible Gastroenterologist with ERCP and GI motility expertise to join a multidisciplinary team on the North Shore. The physician will deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient GI care, expand advanced endoscopy, and contribute to program development.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship.
• Eligible for unrestricted Massachusetts medical licensure.
• DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gastroenterology consultation and management.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy and colonoscopy.
• Independently perform advanced biliary and pancreatic endoscopy, including ERCP.
• Evaluate and manage complex pancreaticobiliary disorders.
• Diagnose and treat GI motility disorders including esophageal dysmotility.
• Interpret and perform GI motility testing (manometry, pH/impedance).
• Collaborate with surgery, oncology, radiology, pathology, nutrition, and PCPs.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and program development.
• Contribute to growth of advanced endoscopy and GI motility services.
• Share in gastroenterology call responsibilities and teaching.

Education

MD/DO degree

Gastroenterology Fellowship (ACGME-accredited)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

Massachusetts medical licensure (eligible)
