Job summary

Roshal Health in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a X-Ray Technologist to join our PRN team. You'll perform radiographic exams, operate portable and fixed X-ray equipment, and support ER imaging in hospital and freestanding facilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year post-grad experience, ARRT RT(R) registration, state licensure where required, and BLS/CPR. You must be able to work independently, communicate clearly with patients and care teams, and pass health and background checks.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience post-graduation
• Current ARRT registration - RT (R), and state licensure where required
• Valid Driver's License
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with portable and general X-ray examinations
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations in accordance with accepted protocols
• Manage patients during complex procedures and exams
• Operate portable X-ray machines and other X-ray equipment
• Troubleshoot minor X-ray equipment problems
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls
• For on-call assignments, contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client's standards
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed
• Document work processes, as required
• Perform other duties, as assigned
