Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in ER settings across hospital and freestanding facilities. The role requires patient management, contrast-enhanced imaging, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have ARRT CT certification, state licensure where required, and BLS/CPR. Travel or on-site opportunities may be available, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience post‑graduation.
• Current ARRT registration – RT (R)(CT), and state licensure where required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check.
• Comfort level with CT examinations and procedures requiring contrast agents, as well as portable and general X-ray.
• Ability to use mobile phone devices & applications.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and physiology.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Must be able to act calmly and effectively in busy, stressful or emergency situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing.
• Adherence to all policies and procedures, including standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations and procedures, including those that require contrast agents, in accordance with accepted protocols.
• Manage patients during complex procedures and exams.
• Operate portable X-ray machines and other X-ray equipment.
• Troubleshoot minor X-ray and CT equipment problems.
• Maintain professional demeanor and respond promptly and professionally to all work-related calls.
• For on-call assignments, contact the assigned facility with estimated arrival time and arrive at the facility within prescribed timeframe.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
• Maintain work areas in compliance with client’s standards.
• Maintain accurate records, reports and files, as directed.
• Document work processes, as required.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
