Animal Emergency of Pasco is seeking a veterinary technician for on-site support in Port Richey, FL. The role includes triage, lab work, imaging, anesthesia monitoring and nursing care for urgent and critical cases after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technician preferred, active license preferred
• 3+ years of technician experience will be considered
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work weekend and weeknight shifts
• Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow

Responsibilities

• Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients
• Collection and analysis of lab samples
• Diagnostic imaging and anesthesia monitoring
• Nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases and capacity management
• Communicate treatment plans clearly with clients
