Emergency Veterinary Care Centers in Saginaw seeks an ER Veterinary Supervisor for night shifts to lead our clinical team. You will supervise Nurses, Technicians, and Assistants, ensuring top-tier nursing care while maintaining efficient schedules and strong collaboration with the Hospital Manager.
The role emphasizes coaching, teaching, and maintaining EVCC standards. The night shift includes weekend coverage, with flexibility to meet hospital needs and ensure exceptional emergency care.
Are you an experienced veterinary professional who’s ready to go from doing the work to leading the team? Do you thrive when things get busy, love coaching others, and know how to keep a clinical team moving when the ER gets chaotic?
If you’re thinking “yep, that’s me,” EVCC wants you on the team as our ER Veterinary Supervisor – Night Shift.
Emergency Veterinary Care Centers was created by veterinarians, for veterinarians—and for the communities they serve. Founded by 36 local general practice veterinarians (many of whom are still actively involved today), EVCC was built to support the veterinary community by providing trusted emergency-only care when primary care veterinarians are closed.
Currently, EVCC Saginaw is open from Friday at 7PM through Monday at 830AM including all holidays that occur during this timeframe. Our #1 goal is to expand these hours to provide quality care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, ensuring your pet always has access to lifesaving treatment— weekend or not.
Our Saginaw location is proud to provide compassionate emergency care for pets and the people who love them. Every shift, our team comes together to deliver lifesaving medicine while supporting one another through the fast pace and unpredictability of emergency veterinary care.
But what truly defines EVCC isn't just what we do—it's how we do it.
You’ll report to the Hospital Manager and help keep our clinical team running smoothly while making sure we’re delivering top-tier nursing care.
Your main focus will be supervising clinical workflow, supporting collaboration, and helping our Nurses, Technicians, and Assistants do their absolute best.
This is primarily a night-shift role with weekend coverage. Schedules may flex depending on what the hospital needs — because, as we all know, emergency medicine doesn’t exactly follow a 9–5 calendar.
You’re someone who:
Basically, you’ll help make sure the clinical team has the people, tools, support, and direction they need to succeed.
We’re big on developing our people, so you’ll:
We take care of our people, too.
We genuinely care about whoever walks through our doors — whether it’s a critical patient, an anxious pet parent, or a teammate who needs support during a tough shift.
Emergency medicine is intense. It’s emotional. It’s unpredictable. But it’s also deeply meaningful.
You won’t be “just a supervisor” here. Your assessment skills, instincts, and voice matter. Our doctors value collaboration. Our leadership team listens. Growth is encouraged, not gatekept.
