Job summary

MedVet invites new and recent veterinary graduates to join the Emergency Clinician Mentorship Program (ECMP), a paid, immersive training path designed to launch your emergency veterinary career. You will be mentored by ER doctors while rotating through Critical Care, Radiology, Internal Medicine and Surgery, with access to didactics and medical journals.

Upon completion, you transition into a full Emergency Clinician role within MedVet's multi-specialty, veterinarian-owned network, committed to

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed (or license-eligible) to practice veterinary medicine in the state of your assigned hospital.
• Passionate about emergency medicine and continuous learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Two letters of recommendation from clinical faculty familiar with your skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Engage in a mentored ER training program with 1:1 mentorship.
• Complete training phases: Direct, Indirect, Independent.
• Rotate through Critical Care, Radiology, Internal Medicine and Surgery.
• Participate in didactics and access to medical journals and textbooks (OVID).
• Receive POCUS training as part of the program.
