Job summary

Emergency Veterinary Care Centers (EVCC) Kalamazoo is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our night shift team. You will work on the front lines of emergency care, performing triage, nursing, anesthesia, and critical care tasks, while supporting doctors and caring for distressed pets and their families.

This role is part-time with the expectation to transition into a full-time position by December 2026 based on performance and hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician with VTNE passed and active credentials.
• 2+ years of veterinary ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with practice management software and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, nursing care, and treatments for emergency cases.
• Assist doctors in anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Communicate clearly with pet parents and team during high-stress shifts.
• Maintain clinical documentation and follow hospital protocols.
