Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Services of Lincoln seeks a DVM student extern for our fast-paced Lincoln, Nebraska practice. This externship offers exposure to emergency exams, surgery, urgent care, in‑house diagnostics, digital radiology and ultrasonography.

Eligible candidates are 3rd or 4th year veterinary students or those with ER background. We provide 1:1 mentorship, flexible scheduling, paid externship hours and future employment opportunities, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.

Qualifications

• Active veterinary student from an AVMA accredited institution.
• 3rd or 4th year veterinary student or with ER background.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
