Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of NW Arkansas is offering an externship for DVM students to gain hands-on experience in a busy animal emergency and specialty practice. The program emphasizes mentorship, flexible scheduling, and paid extern hours.

Open to 1st–4th year veterinary students, the externship provides 1:1 guidance with a focus on developing communication and clinical skills in a fast-paced setting in Northwest Arkansas.

Qualifications

• Must be an active DVM student from an AVMA‑accredited institution.
• Open to 1st–4th year veterinary students.
• Willing to learn in a busy emergency environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities
