Job summary

Methodist Legacy ER and Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full-time floater position across multiple Texas sites near Allen. You will provide clinically competent care in a hybrid ER/urgent care setting, with patient evaluation, treatment, and education under physician supervision.

The role requires APP certification, TX license, and experience in urgent care or ER/ICU, with ACLS/PALS/ENCP and CPR/BLS credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program.
• Unrestricted registered Advanced Practice Provider license in the state of Texas.
• Experience in an Urgent Care or ER/ICU environment is required.
• Current ACLS, PALS/ENCP, and CPR/BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and manage care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Assist physicians with exams and treatments and communicate patient status.
• Document care accurately in medical records and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Collaborate with the health care team to ensure high-quality patient-centered care.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in ongoing training.
