Job summary

Methodist Legacy ER and Urgent Care is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time float position across McKinney, Allen and Frisco East. This role involves 10-hour shifts in a hybrid ER/urgent care setting with on-site labs and imaging.

Competitive pay with monthly bonus potential and a strong emphasis on team-based care. Ideal candidates have urgent care or ER experience, hold an unrestricted Texas AP license, and current ACLS/PALS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Provider program.
• Knowledge of nursing process and its application in patient care

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient screenings and comprehensive histories and exams.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care including therapeutic and diagnostic interventions.
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments and patient status communications.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per physician orders; monitor responses.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and discharge education.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
• Respond to emergency situations promptly and professionally.
