Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Fort Bragg, California. The assignment runs for 13 weeks starting 08/17/2026 with 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

The role requires active CA RN licensure, at least two years in ER, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications. 24/7 recruiter and travel support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (CA)
• At least two years of ER nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; TNCC preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ER, including triage, assessment, and ongoing monitoring of acuity.
• Administer medications and oversee treatments per physician orders; assist with procedures as needed.
• Monitor vital signs, interpret data, recognize deterioration, and intervene promptly to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialty teams, and support staff to develop and implement care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes; communicate care plans and discharge instructions to patients and families.
