Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Newberg, Oregon. The travel ER RN will deliver rapid-response, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department, triaging patients, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires one year of ER RN experience, an active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC. TNCC, NIHSS, CPI, NRP and SANE certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience is required.
• Valid RN license in good standing with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Current PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival.
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per ER protocols.
• Assist physicians during emergency treatments and examinations.
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout ED stay.
• Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
