Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing seeks a skilled ER RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Baltimore, MD. You will deliver rapid-response patient care in a fast-paced ED, assess conditions, implement care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality, efficient outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of ER experience, active RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Travel benefits include day-one insurance coverage and comprehensive support from a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per protocols
• Prepare equipment and aid physicians during emergency treatments
• Monitor patient comfort and safety in the ED
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice
• Take and monitor vital signs and address deviations
• Respond to life‑saving situations per standards and protocols
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR
• Initiate patient education plans per needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care
• Perform other duties within scope of practice
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
