Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Wray, CO. The ED RN will work 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, in a fast-paced setting, providing high-quality care to diverse patients.

A minimum of 1–2 years acute care experience and required certifications are expected for consideration. As a travel RN, you must adapt quickly, document changes, and coordinate with the team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years recent acute care experience required.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS and PALS preferred; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside ER care and patient assessment.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy and preserve supplies/equipment.
• Document patient history, vitals and care plans; follow physician instructions.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies and ensure patient safety.
