Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel ER RN for a 13-week assignment in Cheyenne Wells, CO. You’ll provide rapid emergency care, triage patients, administer medications, and coordinate with physicians and teams to ensure safe, efficient treatment in a high‑acuity ED.

This role requires 1 year ER experience, state RN licensure, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; night shifts, 12‑hour blocks, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• One year of ER RN experience
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current PALS (AHA / ARC) or ENPC Certification

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity
• Explain emergency procedures and treatments to patients and families
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with emergency nursing techniques
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during emergency treatments
• Monitor patient comfort and safety throughout the ED
• Observe and document patient conditions within scope of practice
• Take and monitor vital signs with clinical judgment
• Respond to life-saving situations per standards and protocols
• Document nursing assessments, interventions, outcomes in EMR
• Initiate patient education plans per acute needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
