Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Emergency Department travel nurse (ER RN) for a 13‑week assignment in Slayton, Minnesota. The role requires 36 hours per week, on a rotating 12‑hour shift schedule, with travel nursing as employment type.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care ER experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications. Responsibilities include triage, patient assessment, IV therapy, wound care, and documentation in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualifications

• BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications required or can be obtained before assignment.
• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required for ER travel assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care.
• Clean and bandage wounds.
• Provide IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
