Job summary

Hoboken University Hospital in Hoboken, NJ is seeking an Emergency Room Technician. You will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and assist with equipment cleaning, stocking, and patient transport.

The ER Tech will monitor central station monitors and cardiac rhythms, and document rhythm strips each shift. The role requires an EMT certification or CNA, High School Diploma, and BLS-AHA certification.

Qualifications

• EMT certification OR CNA required.
• BLS-AHA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, basic patient care under guidance of a Registered Nurse.
• Care for and clean equipment, stock supplies/equipment, transport patients, supplies and equipment; monitor central station monitors and cardiac rhythms; report rhythm changes to RN.
• Collect all blood specimens for ER patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.

Salary Range: $26.38 To $27.77 Annually

What You'll Be Doing
