Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a nursing support staff member to assist the nursing team under a licensed nurse's supervision. The role covers direct patient care and task-oriented assignments across pediatric to geriatric populations on site.

Responsibilities include participating in a broad range of patient care activities and collaborating with the nursing team to ensure quality care. Minimum two years of clinical experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth within the hospital

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Successful completion of accredited course: and/or certification in one of the following: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Medical Assistant (MA), Emergency Medical Technician EMT; or equivalent amount of relevant clinical experience.
• BLS certification within three months.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred.

Job Summary PURPOSE OF YOUR JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary purpose of your job as a member of the nursing staff is to assist the nursing staff under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will participate in a wide range of patient care activities, for a pediatric to geriatric population, functions and services for assigned patients, which include direct care and task-oriented assignments.

DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY: Reports to the Charge Nurse or designee.
