Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current Texas EMT-P certification or National EMT-P certification is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care duties and assist with direct patient care for patients, families and staff.
• Operate laboratory equipment as ordered by the physician on duty.
• Discharge patients and provide education to patients and families.
