Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of EMT, Paramedic, Nurse Assistant or other related clinical course.
• Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Department Technician I reports to the Nurse Manager and performs multi-skilled activities to support patient care and outcomes under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
