Job summary

Amery Hospital & Clinic in Amery, WI is hiring an Emergency Room Technician to support the ED team with routine treatments, specimen collection, and clerical tasks such as supplies. You’ll prioritize urgent needs, initiate appropriate care, and report patient data to the RN promptly.

Shifts are 12 hours (0700-1900 and 1900-0700) with varied coverage; a high school diploma and BLS are required, with preferred EMS program completion and current Wisconsin licenses (EMT/AEMT/Paramedic/LPN/CNA).

Qualifications

• High school diploma and BLS certification required.
• Preferred completion of National EMS program.
• Current Wisconsin license (EMT/AEMT/Paramedic/LPN/CNA).
• Three years experience as CNA/LPN/EMT preferred.
• Experience with EPIC computer system.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine treatments.
• Assist in collection of patient specimens (urine, stool and finger stick glucose).
• Provide clerical support such as ordering supplies.
• Prioritize urgency of patient needs and report data to RN promptly.
