Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking an Emergency Room Tech (PRN) to assist with supportive nursing care under RN supervision. You will perform clerical tasks, transport, stocking, and EKGs, and participate in phlebotomy and basic patient care.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, BLS certification at hire, CPI within 6 months, and Florida EMT/National EMT or CNA license.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED equivalent.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS upon hire.
• CPI within 6 months.
• Florida EMT License, National EMT License, or CNA License.

Responsibilities

• Duties include clerical, courier duties, stocking, transporting, and performing EKGs.
• Phlebotomy and specific patient care duties.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned including departmental and/or facility-based tasks.
