Job summary

Methodist Health System seeks an experienced ER Tech II to join our fast-paced Emergency Department. You will support nurses and physicians with patient care, perform EKGs, phlebotomy, splinting, wound care, and transport, while documenting accurately in the medical record.

You'll contribute to critical care procedures and help maintain emergency equipment and supplies across our Texas facilities, with a focus on compassionate, team-based care.

Qualifications

• Experience as ER Technician or similar role in a fast-paced ER environment.
• Ability to perform EKGs, phlebotomy, splinting, wound care, and patient transport.
• Accurate documentation in the medical record and strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and physicians with patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, splinting, and wound care as needed.
• Transport patients and supplies within the department and to other units.
• Document care accurately in the medical record and communicate patient status to the team.
• Support critical care procedures and maintain emergency equipment and supplies.
