Job summary

King's Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS, is seeking an ER Tech to support emergency department operations. You will perform directed patient care for assigned patients, assist with patient transport, stocking, and room cleaning under RN/LPN supervision.

Qualifications

Description

Performs directed patient care for an assigned number of patients. The ER Tech is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures, and applicable regulations of the department and organization. Responsibilities include collecting selected patient information, providing directed emergency patient care under the direction of the RN/LPN, stocking supplies, cleaning patient rooms, transporting patients, and assisting with maintaining the flow of patients through the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a nursing or EMT program preferred.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required.
