Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an Emergency Care Technician to join the Emergency Room team. Under the supervision of a nurse, you will perform selected patient care tasks and follow detailed instructions to ensure timely, safe care.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, state- or nationally-registered CNA/PCA/MA/EMT/EMT-P licenses, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Licensed CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P at state level or nationally registered.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Care Technician performs selected patient care tasks under nurse supervision and follows detailed instructions; any unlisted duties are clarified with the nurse.
• Works as part of the Emergency Room team to support patient flow and safety.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Day Shift. Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for an ER Tech to join our Emergency Room team!

Employment Type: Full Time Shift: .9FTE, 36hrs/wk. Day Shift 11a-11p, every other weekend, rotating holidays.

Job Description: An Emergency Care Technician, under the direction and supervision of the nurse, performs selected patient care tasks and other duties. Follows detailed and specific instructions; matters not covered are verified with the nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Licensed as a CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P
• The certifications must be held at the state level or be nationally registered
• BLS
