Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking an Emergency Care Technician to join our Emergency Room team. You will work under the supervision of a nurse to perform selected patient care tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Full-time, day shift (11a-11p), 9FTE (36 hrs/wk) with every other weekend and rotating holidays. A High School Diploma or GED is required; CNA/PCA/MA/EMT/EMT-P license and BLS certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred to be licensed as CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P at state level or nationally registered.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform selected patient care tasks under the supervision of a nurse.
• Follow detailed instructions; consult nurse for duties not covered.

Minimum Qualifications:

• The individual is preferred to be licensed as a CNA, PCA, MA, EMT, or EMT-P. The certifications must be held at the state level or be nationally registered.
